An Ayew Dede
In preparation for the final African qualifier for the 2010 World Cup and an international friendly against Angola, Milovan Rajevac has included six members of the World U-20 winning team in his roster.
Twenty players, including Andre Ayew, Samuel Inkoom, Daniel Addo, Dominic Adiyiah, Agyemang Badu, and goalkeeper Daniel Adjei, have been included to Ghana’s roster for the November 15 home game against Togo at the Baba Yara Stadium and the November 18 international friendly against next year’s CAN hosts Angola. Daniel Addo, Dominic Adiyiah, Daniel Adjei, and Lee Addy have all been called up for the first time.
Andre Ayew is called up for the first time in over a year, and Kwadwo Asamoah returns from a four-month injury layoff. Ghana has already qualified for both the Nations Cup in Angola and the World Cup in South Africa, so they can rest easy heading into the final qualifier on the continent. The Black Stars have a four-point lead over Mali in Group D heading into their match on November 15. The CAN hosts would use the November 18 friendly against Angola to go through their finals-ready venue in Luanda.
